Overview
The Department of Pharmacognosy focuses on the study of natural products. The students were exposed theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as identification, extraction, analysis, standardization, quality control and evaluation of natural products.
The department integrates traditional systems of medicine with modern pharmaceutical sciences and supports academic learning and research through well-equipped laboratories and library facilities, preparing students for careers in academia, research, and industry.
