Overview
The department aims to provide experiential learning in drug discovery, primarily in compound library generation and synthesis and hit-to-lead optimization, by integrating AI and machine learning with other computational tools.

The department provides strong foundational and advanced knowledge in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, drug design, and natural product chemistry, enabling students to understand the various aspects of drug design and discovery. The department is equipped with modern laboratory facilities and computational tools to support teaching and research.
