With the devine blessings of his holiness Sri Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji and in the commemoration of 108th Jayanti of his holiness Dr. Shri Shri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, the Department of Civil Engineering, JSSATE, Noida, successfully organized a Seminar on Sustainable River Management and Restoration on 23rd September 2023 at AB-III 113 hall. The seminar was held also to mark World River Day 2023 in collaboration with the Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS), Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. Dr. Sabita Madhvi Singh, Joint Director, National River Conservation Directorate (NRCD), MoJS was invited as the Chief Guest of the event. Mr. Maneesh Jaiswal, Deputy Director, Central Water Commission, MoJS was the Guest of Honor. Mr. Takashi Sakakibara, JICO Expert, NRCD, MoJS and Mr. Mikio Matsuyama JICO Expert, NRCD, MoJS were also present as the invited speakers.
