The English Department of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, recently launched a faculty seminar series to promote academic exchange. On May 3, 2025, Ms. Saijal Pawar, Assistant Professor, delivered the inaugural presentation titled "Rendition of Disability through the Lens of First-person and Third-person Stances: A Cultural Exploration." Drawing on literature, media, and cultural narratives—including Oedipus Rex, One Little Finger, If You Could See What I Hear, and Margarita with a Straw—she examined how disability is portrayed through different narrative perspectives. The session was interactive, with faculty contributing insights, and concluded with a lively discussion that affirmed the relevance of the topic.
