DR. VAISHNAVI BANSAL

Profile

Dr. Vaishnavi Bansal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at JSS University, Noida. She has done her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from Delhi Technological University. Her doctoral research focused on "Slope Stability Assessment In Kalimpong Region of Darjeeling Himalayas” a critical study contributing to hazard assessment and disaster mitigation in North Eastern Himalayan terrains. With a strong academic background and a passion for applied research, she has published around 17 research papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and has 2 Published Patents and 1 Granted Patent. Her areas of teaching and research include Slope Stability analysis, Traffic management, Remote Sensing & GIS, Landslide Hazard Zonation, and Natural Disaster Risk Management. With 10 years of teaching and learning experience complemented by Industrial experience, she has enriched her professional growth through participation in more than 20 workshops and faculty development programs.
