MS. KANISHKA VERMA

Ms. Kanishka Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, combining a strong foundation in academic scholarship with dynamic professional experience. An alumna of Gautam Buddha University (BA English Honours) and the University of Delhi (MA English Honours), Ms. Verma brings over three years of teaching expertise to the classroom. Her research interests focus on Indian literature and translinguality, engaging students with insightful examinations of linguistic, cultural, and literary intersections. Ms. Verma has presented at multiple international and national conferences, participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs and short-term courses, continually enhancing her pedagogical approach. A published author, Ms. Verma’s recent short story collection, “Fragments: Stories Carried from a Forgotten Childhood,” demonstrates her creative engagement beyond academia. She has international teaching experience through various EdTech platforms and is a certified trainer in personality development and creative writing skills. Renowned for her communication abilities, Ms. Verma regularly has hosted multiple events at her institution, encouraging both student involvement and academic excellence within the community.
