Mr. Gaurav Bharti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at JSS University, Noida. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering and GIS from Delhi Technological University. His doctoral research focused on "GLOF-Induced Landslides in the Region of Uttarakhand, India", a critical study contributing to hazard assessment and disaster mitigation in Himalayan terrains. With a strong academic background and a passion for applied research, he has published over 40 research papers in SCI, WoS, Scopus-indexed journals, and has 3 Published Patents and 1 Granted Patent. His areas of teaching and research include Geotechnical Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS, Landslide Hazard Zonation, and Natural Disaster Risk Management.
