DR. VIKAS PRASAD
Assistant ProfessorProfile
Dr. Vikas joined JSS on August 1, 2025. Dr. Vikas has a total of 10 years of experience, comprising 2 years in teaching and 8 years in research. His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. (2025) in Material Science (Chemistry) from Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (IoE), Delhi-NCR, where his research focused on areas like ferroelectricity and negative thermal expansion in organic molecular crystals. He also holds a PG Diploma in Chemical Analysis and Quality Management (CAQM) and an M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry. His research contributions include 8 papers published in Web of Science and SCOPUS-indexed journals, such as Crystal Growth & Design and ACS Applied Electronic Materials. He has also been recognized with awards like the Best Poster Award from CrystEnggComm at the Sagamore XX Conference in 2024. Dr. Vikas is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, United Kingdom.
