Profile

Dr. Sonam Patel is an academician and pharmaceutical researcher currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at JSS University, Noida, since June 2021. She obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, where her research focused on the isolation, characterization, synthesis, and genotoxic evaluation of degradation products of antiretroviral drugs. Her research work has been supported by esteemed national fellowships, including the ICMR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) and the DST Women Scientist Scheme (WOS-A), and has resulted in a granted Indian patent along with 9 SCI- and Scopus-indexed publications. Dr. Patel has gained significant industrial research experience through internships in Analytical Research and Development at Cipla Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, and Sanofi-Synthelabo, Goa. She has strong expertise in advanced analytical techniques. Her research interests include pharmaceutical analysis, drug stability studies, impurity profiling, and regulatory science.
