Dr. Ruchi Saraswat is an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Civil Engineering at JSS University, Noida. Her doctoral research focused on”Vulnerability studies in the upper part of Bhagirthi valley, Garhwal Himalaya with particular focus on Disaster Risk Reduction”, a critical study contributing to hazard assessment and disaster mitigation in Himalayan terrains. She has 23 years of teaching experience and has published over 13 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals. Her areas of teaching and research include Environmental Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS, Landslide Hazard Zonation, and Natural Disaster Risk Management.
