Dr. Roli Verma is currently serving as the Head of Department and Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. She holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from DMSRDE, DRDO, Kanpur, where her doctoral research focused on the “Synthesis and Study of Thermo-mechanical Properties of Some Polybenzobisthiazoles.” She was awarded the DRDO Fellowship (1997) and pursued JRF and SRF positions for her doctoral research. Subsequently, she carried out her post-doctoral research on Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) and Smart Materialsat IIT Kanpur and DMSRDE, DRDO during 2002–2005.With over two decades of teaching and research experience, Dr. Verma has made noteworthy contributions in the areas of high-temperature heat-resistant polymers, water treatment, and self-healing polymeric materials. She has published 20 research papers in SCI/ Web of Science/Scopus–indexed journals, 10 book chapters (Springer/Elsevier), and authored 4 textbooks in Engineering Chemistry and Environmental & Ecology.Dr. Verma has actively participated in various conferences, seminars, and workshops at both national and international platforms, playing a vital role in knowledge dissemination and research collaboration within the field of chemical sciences.
