Dr. Rohit Kumar Srivastav is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Physics, JSS University Noida. He did M.Sc. (2015) from Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University, Varanasi. From Oct 2017 – Sep 2018, he worked as Research Assistant with Prof. Dr. Santosh Kumar at Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In January 2024 he had completed Ph.D. from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida-62, Uttar Pradesh, India. From July 2024 – July 2025, he worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow with Scientist Dr. Mrityunjay Kundu at Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He is a member of Plasma Science Society of India (PSSI). His research interest includes theoretical physics with various applications to terahertz plasmonics, metamaterials, laser interactions with plasmas and materials.
