Dr. Parveen Poon Terang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, JSS University, Noida, India-201301. She also has the responsibility of Head, Training & Placement for both JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida & JSS University, Noida. Dr. Parveen started her professional journey in the Industry (Renewable Energy Sector) and moved on to academia. She has close to 28 years of work experience (Industry & Academic). She received her B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Silchar, Assam (now NIT, Silchar). Her M. Tech. is in Electrical Power System Management form Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She was awarded her Ph.D. from Department of Electrical Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for her research work titled “Intelligent Strategies for Distributed Generation Resources in a Smart Grid” in 2018. Her areas of interest include Renewable Energy, Protection and Interconnection of Distributed Energy Resources, Power Systems, Smart Grids & Microgrids, Sustainability, AI etc. She has published several research papers in national and international journals of repute. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of ISTE.
