Research Experience
- Dr. Nupur Gupta has over five years of research experience in experimental condensed matter physics, focusing on structural, thermal, and optical characterization of functional glasses and glass-ceramics. Her work involves synthesis using melt and splat quenching techniques and advanced characterization through X-ray diffraction, neutron scattering, MAS-NMR, Raman, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. She has collaborated with leading research facilities including BARC (Mumbai), RRCAT (Indore), and PETRA-III (Germany) for high-energy X-ray and synchrotron studies. Her research aims to establish structure–property correlations in heavy-metal oxide and rare-earth-doped glass systems for advanced optical and energy applications.
