DR. GULLAPALLI KOWMUDI
Assistant ProfessorProfile
Dr. G. Kowmudi is a dedicated pharmaceutical scientist and academician with expertise in analytical and bioanalytical method development using HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, LC-Q-ToF/MS, and ICP-MS. She is proficient in the extraction, identification, and quantification of bioactive compounds, vitamins, and APIs from natural and pharmaceutical sources, and experienced in developing nutraceutical formulations with bioavailability evaluation through in vitro and in vivo studies. Her research also extends to in-silico design of experiments (DoE), employing factorial and response surface methodologies to optimize process parameters effectively. She has published extensively in reputed journals, presented at global conferences, and has been awarded prestigious fellowships and research grants, reflecting her research excellence and innovative capabilities.

- 2018 Project titled “Pharmacokinetic Evaluation of Trigonelline Extracted from Seeds of Trigonella Foenum Graecum L. (Fenugreek) in Albino Rabbits” was awarded with 1st Prize from Tamil Nadu Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust (TNPSWT).
- 2019 research titled “Nutrikinetic Assessment of Bioactive Compound – Lunasin A Potential Anticancer Agent Isolated from Functional Foods of Indian Origin” was funded with a Senior Research Fellowship by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR-SRF), New Delhi, for the fulfilment of Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
