DR. GAYATRI SAKYA
Associate Prof & AR(Research)Profile
Dr. Gayatri Sakya is an Associate Professor and Head of the ECE Department at JSS University, Noida, and also serves as Assistant Registrar (Research). She has over 23 years of professional experience, including 20 years in academia, 2.5 years in industry, and 1 year in research. A Senior Member of IEEE, she holds a Ph.D. in Wireless Sensor Networks from Gautam Buddha University. Her expertise spans IoT, Embedded Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, and AI Applications. Dr. Sakya has authored over 60 publications in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. She has contributed several book chapters with Springer and CRC Press and presented extensively at IEEE events. Her research projects have attracted over ₹55 lakhs in funding from DST, AICTE, and TEQIP schemes. She holds seven patents (one granted) in IoT, healthcare, and automation. Recognized with the “Young Scientist Award 2022” and “Best Faculty Award,” she exemplifies research excellence. As Advisor of IEEE RAS and Coordinator of e-Yantra Lab and SPARK Society, she promotes innovation and student engagement.
